This leash is soft and comfortable to hold, and seems to be sturdy and well made.
I have a 7-month old German shepherd. Most of the time, she's not a puller, but she is barky-lungy at nearby dogs and occasionally pulls for some other reason. It's not too hard to control her on a regular leash, but this makes long-lining so much safer and enjoyable.
I use it for my clients to help them to understand their dog
I love this concept so much. The ability to configure this sturdy leash as needed is awesome, and I thought I'd soon buy a few more of these and downsize the leash collection I'd built up in search of the perfect option. But the clasps do not hold when attached to collar/harness. I have a young 80 pound hound mix and we're working on walking nicely and not chasing EVERYTHING. Because he can also be aggressive, we have MULTIPLE failsafes built into our walking setup. And thank goodness we do, because the clasps fail on at least half of our walks, for no discernable reason. I use one connector on leash, one on harness, and if we didn't have those two connection points, he'd be gone since he almost always is attached only by one at some point. He doesn't roll on the ground or anything that would trip the trigger. It's scary.
But having said that -- if they replaced the current clasps with something like locking carabiners, I would certainly buy in bulk for personal use and for use at the shelter where I volunteer.
